CCD Sensors have the advantage of capturing the entire frame at a one time verses the line scanning mode of CMOS cameras, so you'll never get the "jello" effect from a CCD camera. They also have the advantage of offering excellent video quality.
WDR, or Wide Dynamic Range, is critical for any FPV camera. It allows the camera to image super high contrast, such as when flying into the sun but toward an area that is in the shadows. If your camera doesn't have WDR like this one, you aren't seeing what you should be seeing.
